WAYS TO MAINTAIN RELEVANCE

Relevance in Life

To be relevant to your society continuously demands that you remain useful to it. To attend relevance in life is easy but a task too hard maintain. Many today who go by the title ‘Former this, Former that” has suddenly lost true and relevant identity simply because they failed to understand time. Time is the currency of life and only the wise maximize it for transaction.

There is time for everything. Any time of the present age you waste puts you on the train of being named ‘Former’. Many people in our world today especially political and economic juggernauts thought that relevance can be maintained by killing and wasting lives, so to ensure that their names and faces regularly appear on the front page of newspapers. They lie, kill and deny people.

As a writer, I know relevance in my field can be maintained and is definitely possible.

You don’t have to do anything beyond your jurisdiction to maintain relevance. Everything you need to become relevant and maintain relevance is within you. In a jiffy, I will help you explore it.

v                  CREATIVITY (Be Creative)

Man is a created being called into the ministry of procreation. You are authorized to create what you want. By looking at nature, they are many potentials very many to explore and you cannot achieve this except you think. Everything that is today was created in the mind first. You don’t create by looking at others or copying them if you wish to be relevant in life.

Engage your mind to constructive thinking. When you stop thinking you start sinking and probably starts stinking. Any idea worth passing to the next generation must be a product of constructive thoughts.

Think of what you can create to make easier the life of people. For every problem you offer a solution for, your generation and posterity celebrates you for it.

Be creative, change your world.

v                  BE PURPOSE DRIVEN

Life is full of drivers. You are either driven by good or the bad motive. It is simple to understand that what drives a man determines where his/her journey will end.

To be purpose driven simply means; let the reason(s) or mission which a particular event or vision stands to achieve be your driving force beyond all obstacles. A purpose driven man is never deterred by the challenges of life. What make others breakdown only come to make him breakthrough.

A purpose driven man arrives his destination safely and his world never cease to celebrate him. His relevance is maintained over a long period of time.

v                  DO NOT THINK LESS OF WHO YOU ARE

Thoughts are very powerful. Thoughts make us, thoughts break us. Thoughts build us and thoughts destroy us. In fact, thoughts are imaginations with constructive and destructive possibilities.

Man is product of his thought life. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. You don’t think like a poor and become rich. You don’t think like an insane man and become sane. You don’t think like a failure and become successful. And you can’t think like a coward and become a warrior.

When people make mention of future leaders, stop shifting it to others accept it. You have all it takes to maintain relevance. You stop at nothing until you see your world changed. You are who you proclaim, act and seen as. Offer people the real syllable they will read about you to be inspired in life.

v                AVOID BEING A FAULT FINDER

People who specialize in finding fault never see the good in others. They end up having faults all over them. When they try to find fault, they engage their whole being in the negative direction. This kind of people hardly makes lasting friends in life.

They are so full of themselves. They have little or no value for humanity.

The good in others that would have spurred your relevance if attended to are neglected when you are bent on finding fault. Your relevance diminishes and probably terminates when you find faults.

v                TALK ILL OF NOBODY

The world they say is a global village. The person you castigate and mesmerize may probably be at your back and unfortunately may be the gate-man in whose territory the solution you are looking for to move to the next level is locked in. What do you think would happen if he gets to know that he is all you need to move over?

No relationship, both same sex and opposite sex is permitted to end in a horrible and woeful way. You should understand that you don’t make friends to become enemies.

Your relevance is destroyed immediately you are at the mercies of people you talked ill of.
